The L-shaped kitchens have become very popular. As you would expect, this layout consists of two adjacent, perpendicular walls. It can range in size from small to large, depending on the length of walls.
People who like to entertain will appreciate this layout's ability to incorporate multiple cooks, invite guests into the cooking area and allow for mingling and conversation during a family dinner or a cocktail party. However, without an island, the cooks are still facing away from the activities while working.
This is my kitchen. I have used Corian as a bench top.The Nonporous and stain-resistant is a staggering 4 meters long. A Corian sink is moulded into the bench top.
The splash back, made in two parts, is toughen glass coloured made by Glasskote in Perth, Australia. This was shipped to Sweden back in 2008. So the kitchen was built around the length of glass brought to Sweden.
I created the gyprock bulkhead above the overhead cupboards with spotlights to give the work space a bright working area.
A Walnut cutting board 600mm x 400mm x 30mm created by Woodwork creations sits on the bench top.
