My passion for working with wood began at a young age. I was always eager to create items in my fathers workshop. I soon developed a love and intrigue for experimenting and creating items with wood.
Born and raised on the coast of Western Australia. I completed a 4 year Carpentry/joinery apprenticeship in a trial scheme ran by the Government. Hired to companies to learn all aspects of building and carpentry. I spent time working on high rise concete construction sites. One year building the Perth law Courts and judges chambers using tradition joinery and the locally grown hardwood Jarrah.
I was proud to be a nominee for the Western Australian Apprentice of the year. Eventhough I didn't win it was a great acknowledgment of my skill.
After my apprenticeship I spent 5 years working in Sydney, Australia. I had the pleasure working on rebuilding Sydney's landmark Luna Park. A large amusement park with rides crafted from wood.
I spent one year renovating St patrick's Seminary and the endless task in window repairs. A building Gothic in style with Spanish flavour which was established in 1889. It is now the International college of management.
I also enjoyed working on the Sydney opera house, and a number of elite homes located on the foreshore of Sydney's harbour.
My desire to travel led me to Switzerland where I enjoyed a varied type of work crafting wine racks and bee hives for a small business.
I returned to Perth for 5 years where I worked as acting foreman/carpenter in hospital construction. Building new heart surgery rooms to state of the art water birth suites.
Woodwork creations came to life in 2012. Not long after relocating to Örebro, Sweden .
My day to day work is primarily filled with carpentry work such as renovations of homes, kitchen installations, bathroom renovations, timber decks and more.
My real love and passion is creating unique items from wood. By nature I'm a perfectionist . I'm meticulous in taking time to bring each item to life in detail.
Please Enjoy Browsing my website that shows a collection of some of my most recent creations.
